How to track all your mutual funds in one place
Funds bought through different apps and fund houses, SIPs that missed a month, returns that each app reports differently — here is how to see everything together, with the real return.
Step 1: get one statement with everything
A CAS statement from CAMS or KFintech lists every fund under your PAN, from every app. Download yours in 5 minutes, and read what a CAS contains.
Step 2: add stocks, ETFs and crypto
Holdings outside mutual funds come from your broker or exchange: Zerodha, Groww or Binance. Which file to use for each app.
Step 3: read the right return
For SIPs, look at XIRR, not the simple percentage gain — XIRR vs CAGR explained. Compare it with inflation over the same period.
Step 4: keep it current
Import a fresh CAS every few months, or add new SIP instalments as they happen. In Spendly, imported funds are priced every day and missed SIP instalments are flagged.
Track your real investments: import your CAS statement once and Spendly shows every fund’s value and XIRR, kept up to date.

Can I track funds from different apps together?
Yes — a CAS covers all of them, because folios are held under your PAN with the fund houses, not with the app.
Do I need to share my broker login?
No. You download the statement yourself and import the file.
Is my statement uploaded?
In Spendly the file is read on your phone and is not uploaded or stored; only fund names, units, amounts and dates are saved after you see a preview.
